I did a series of illustrations parodying Instagram and selfie cliches, featuring the carabao character from my The More The Manyer series of books on Filipino linguistic cliches. From #duckface to #beachfeet, the images comprise some of my biggest internet pet peeves.

Wild Things - Artwork for the Ang InK Exhibit

Inspired both by Maurice Sendak's original picture book, and Dave Eggers & Spike Jonze film adaptation, Wild Things is a set of postcard-sized illustrations I contributed to Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan's Paper Clips exhibit, which launched last May 30, 2015 at PRISM Gallery.

Artwork was created with watercolor and graphite.

This Mother’s Day, giving wifey @lorraelena a break is the least I can do! She’s been such a super mom, putting her career on hold to take care of our two kids. Our families live far from us, and we’ve had no yaya, so especially when I’m at work she’s had to look after them on her own! Yet despite the challenges, every day I still see her filling our home with patience and love and kindness, and teaching our kids the same. I’m inspired, in awe, and in love all over again by her strength, resilience, and wisdom. I love you @lorraelena, Happy Mother’s Day! #saabbebear
